When a project ends up in a dispute about delays, changes and costs, the outcome is decided by the evidence. With forensic analysis in Styrén Project Control, schedules, e-mails and documents are collected untouched with checksums, and a traceable event chronology is built from them – for negotiation, arbitration or court.

Thousands of e-mails at once
Import ZIP files with exports from Outlook and Gmail, MBOX (Gmail Takeout), .eml and .msg. The archives are unpacked, every e-mail becomes its own piece of evidence and attachments are stored separately.
Duplicates are recognised by message ID, and an interrupted import can be run again.
Search, filter and tag
Full-text search in subject, body, sender and recipients, filters on date, domain and attachments, and whole e-mail threads with one click.
Tag e-mails as Relevant, Important, Privileged or Reviewed and produce an e-mail register with checksums as an exhibit.
Unaltered evidence
Every file gets a checksum (SHA-256) on import. Evidence can never be changed or deleted – only tagged or excluded with a justification.
Documents and project data
PDF, Word, Excel and images. If the project was run in Styrén Project Control, change orders, RFIs, site diary disruptions, meeting minutes and transmittals are collected automatically.
Schedules from MS Project and Primavera P6
Each revision on its own
Import schedule revisions as MS Project XML or P6 XER. Data date, planned and actual dates, baseline, total float and dependencies are read and stored untouched.

Schedule quality check
Actual dates after the status date, activities without predecessors or successors and negative float – common objections to a schedule in a dispute – are shown per revision.
Windows delay analysis
Time is split into windows between the revisions. Each window shows how far the finish date moved and which critical activities drove the delay.
The analyst allocates the days to client, contractor, neutral and concurrent delay, links events from the chronology as support and justifies the allocation – everything is logged.
Compare two revisions
See which activities moved, were added, removed or got changed logic between two revisions, with float before and after. Everything can be exported to Excel.
Event chronology with AI
AI suggests – people decide
AI reads e-mails and PDFs and suggests events with date, category, responsible party and a verbatim quote. Nothing is used until an analyst has approved it.
Traceable to the source
Every event links to its evidence, and the chronology can be exported to Excel as an exhibit.
Cost analysis
Claimed and assessed amounts per category and responsible party. Time-related costs are calculated as the amount per day times the delay days allocated to the client.
Expert report
The report is produced from the analysis case: assignment, method, schedules, chronology, delay windows, costs, conclusions and an evidence register with checksums. The final PDF is locked with a checksum.
Confidentiality and traceability
Only appointed people
An analysis case is visible only to its members – owners, analysts and viewers. Not even the company's administrators or Styrén's support can see it. The material is stored within the EU, and AI reads only what you choose.
Everything is logged
Imports with checksums, tags, approvals, changes and members are logged with who and when – so that the analysis can be audited afterwards.
